As a part of our science unit about weather and climate I gave the students a task of picking a vacation spot and trying to persuade me to go there on my next vacation. Price was not an issue (I wish that were actually true haha), just the climate and temperature of the destination. They needed to research the location, create charts and graphs to show precipitation, temperature highs and lows, and benefits of going to that location. They then needed to present the information to me. It went great!
