My name is Sarah Rausch. I grew up in Buffalo Minnesota. While in high school, I played lacrosse, was on Student Council, National Honors Society, was the photographer for the school yearbook, and sang in the school's honor choir. I then went to North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, where I received my degree in Elementary Education K-6, and a 6-8th grade Language Arts certification. In 2019 I received my Masters in Education with a focus on integration of the Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. When I am not teaching, I love to read, play violin, travel, explore the outdoors, and spend time with family and friends. I love to camp, kayak, and hike.
I moved to Maine with my husband Matt, our two cats Alice and Peter, and our dog Dexter four years ago from Minneapolis. I am so excited to have the privilege of teaching at CRES for my fourth year. Before teaching at Coastal Ridge Elementary School, I taught 3rd grade for three years in Brooklyn Park, MN.
