My name is Sarah Rausch. I grew up in Buffalo Minnesota. While in high school, I played lacrosse, was on Student Council, National Honors Society, and was the photographer for the school yearbook. I then went to North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, where I received my degree in Elementary Education K-6, and a 6-8th grade Language Arts certification. When I am not teaching, I love to read, play violin, travel, and spend time outside. I love to camp, kayak, and hike.
I just recently moved to Maine with my husband Matt, our two cats Alice and Peter, and our dog Dexter. I am so excited to have the privilege of teaching at CRES for my second year, and working through my Masters of Education program at Lesley University. Before teaching at Coastal Ridge Elementary School, I taught 3rd grade for three years in Brooklyn Park, MN.
