My name is Sarah Rausch. I grew up in Buffalo Minnesota. While in high school, I played lacrosse, was on Student Council, National Honors Society, was the photographer for the school yearbook, and sang in the school's honor choir. I then went to North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, where I received my degree in Elementary Education K-6, and a 6-8th grade Language Arts certification. When I am not teaching, I love to read, play violin, travel, explore the outdoors, and spend time with family and friends. I love to camp, kayak, and hike.
I moved to Maine with my husband Matt, our two cats Alice and Peter, and our dog Dexter three years ago from Minneapolis. I am so excited to have the privilege of teaching at CRES for my third year, and finishing up my Masters of Education program at Lesley University in December. Before teaching at Coastal Ridge Elementary School, I taught 3rd grade for three years in Brooklyn Park, MN.
