My name is Sarah Rausch. I grew up in Buffalo Minnesota. While in high school, I played lacrosse, was on Student Council, National Honors Society, and was the photographer for the school yearbook. I then went to North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, where I received my degree in Elementary Education K-6, and a 6-8th grade Language Arts certification. When I am not teaching, I love to read, play violin, travel, and spend time outside. I love to camp, kayak, and hike.
I just recently moved to Maine with my husband Matt, our two cats Alice and Peter, and our dog Dexter. I am so excited to be starting at a new school, living in a new state, and starting my Masters of Education program. Before teaching at Coastal Ridge Elementary School, I taught 3rd grade for three years in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is my 1st year here at CRES and I am so excited!
